Another thing they can do with CBDCs is target interest rates, so you can punish and reward entire economic zones.

My presumption is that the future will be a collection of competing currencies used for all kinds of things.

Here’s what I’m buying now, while they’re still cheap (in no particular order):

Gold

Silver

BTC

Cigarettes

Lighters

Whiskey

Bullets

Real-estate

Appliances

But, I’m no summer-child.

This economic craziness will continue as long as it can, so, don’t abandon your IRAs and 401ks just yet. You just never know...you might retire.

Check out “Beyond Blockchain” by Eric Townsend. Great book on digital currency. I’m in the industry, so I recommend it as an insider.

If you have a real relation to God, some spook is not going to take the stage so easily. That, and a glass of OJ with activated charcoal and a couple of days of kelation diet, when you're *really* worried about it. ;D

What if we choose 0 scapegoating 0 enmity? Every time we find a scapegoat we turn out to have been wrong.
