It isn't Libertarian if the government uses foreign policy Treasury debt to pay for it.
Here is why we need to defund USAID to SOUTHCOMM on false premise of "refugee aid". The mere whiff of Matt Welch this week airing "the Refugee Act" to substantiate Treasury funded aims has to be the least liberty oriented thing I have seen this analyst advocate over the years.
You can be pro-immigration and not open borders. Most sovereign nations have migration limits, border enforcement and right of return policies. Let's not act like the entire world is entitled to unconditionally squat on US lands and territories. [Immigration law in the US is not an imagined thing.] I'll give you another Reason to tighten up the super loose open border policies of the Biden Administration.
Open borders policy has actually been one of the least beneficial policy actions towards the interests of personal liberty in the US. There's inborn conflict among classical liberals and Libertarians on this. It wouldn't be so disastrous without the use of US Treasury funds distributed as "refugee aid". USAID enabled migrants are trampling US property owners land rights to the USG subsidized profit of overindulged narco-socialist cartels and NGO grifters in the US and Mexico.

Through this process the drug legalization proponents are actually being undermined by uncontrolled border migration proponents who want more black market labor, [controlled markets for access to] sex workers, more black market access to organs and organ harvesting and they want it from North America alongside illicit non-taxable income from pot and other drug trafficking. What we are actually witnessing here are the trade crimes against US human culture by a group of antisocial anarchist-aligned politicos.
Reason Mag [and other pro-privatization caucuses in the Fascist wing of the Libertarian party] have carried their water. Now that their imbalanced policies are landing sideways on Americans, conservatarians are going to war (politically) against the anarchist lib hypocrites because none of this would have been possible without USAID handouts from the US Treasury.
Open borders proffer PRC black market triads, Mexican narco-communist government corruption, and undermines US peace and stability through open air drug markets; which later fuel corruption rings and political extortion rings by foreign government and attaches.
Libertarians need to come out against US funding anarcho-communist drug policies that pit the interests of psychotic communist slavers against US citizenship. Reason should abandon communist funders by way of USAID today or they can forget about being seen as a serious Libertarian publication by anyone who thinks about liberty in earnest.
Sincerely,
Sheila Dean
