A Whodunnit: Who Is Aborting The Baby of The American Conservative?
The query goes, not just of who is aborting babies (women), but of whose babies are being aborted.
[AUTHORS NOTE: This was a previously unpublished screed that now seems relevant given the Biden family’s shunning of a granddaughter born out of wedlock. -7/14/2023]
As the Biden Administration produces an Executive order and corresponding legislation to put a vote to legalize abortion nationally, it dredges decades old stakeholder preponderances. The query goes, not just of who is aborting babies (women), but of whose babies are being aborted.
It is less a mystery to me why married conservative men carry the rhetorical water of ‘incel’ men, with no pregnant girlfriend. They intend to burden millions of American women with a mandate of producing children. They seek to legislate filial piety to women who are not their wives. To be clear, these are women these married men have never slept with, never met, never spoken to and are in fact, unknown to them in almost every way. They bear no provisionary stake in their lives. In truth, these women are in no way obligated to do anything as intimate as producing a child for a complete and utter stranger as public policy.
There is a bizarre insistence that there is an American baby shortage. Shortage according to who? Rich men who are regularly featured on Fox News, like Elon Musk? A man like Musk can produce children at alarming frequency, to keep or exceed the provisionary pace of his offspring. He’s not in a babymaking crisis. What Musk cannot do is produce enough baby formula during a shortage or control Biden’s drastic inflationary hikes that impact the ability of normal Americans to provide food and supplies at the rate of demand for the average American parent. These are the economic forces that deter fecundity.
To use deductive logic, the following verbal tour may come across like an inquisition. Is it a necessary intrusion? It may qualify the counter-intrusion as managing stakeholders for those who seek abortion prohibition as US public policy. So, who is aborting American conservative babies, exactly?
First, the origin of the question. There are two types of legal pregnancies to a political conservative, opposed to the singular legal pregnancy for the rest of America. The two types of pregnancies are: inside the bounds of marriage and outside the bounds of marriage. For political conservatives, the most tightly controlled missives are aimed at the women inside of matrimony who do not want to have the baby of the man they are married to. That seems to be the natural stakeholder range for the American conservative. Then, there are the women outside the bound of marriage who are pregnant with the unwanted children of conservative men. Since these are the two ports for pregnancy, at the insistence of the conservative polity, only the married would be legitimate.
It's not accidental to get the impression American conservative men are seeking to impregnate women they are not married to, given the unknown range of women they do not know qualifying for forced reproductive outcomes driven by State legal mandate. As a diversionary tactic, if placing at-fault-theater of ‘blame’ upon the women for the pregnancy no longer works, the next is to appropriate pregnancy enforcement responsibility to the State. This works to further divert culpability and cast these women, in a very inconvenient 9 month period of their lives, to the role of criminals.
The State’s presumed role is to monitor and obstruct the woman’s capability to ‘harm their own babies with the act of abortion’, even if they are not considering aborting a child. This is an attempted legal valence to compete with the current granted parenthood of the gestating mother to invade the medical privacy of pregnant women.
They are proven. No one gave Dinesh Disouza the right to geofence women seeking abortions at public clinics, the same way he did around transactions of public election. That is precisely where the American conservative lost me on this one.
MORAL IS AS MORAL DOES
This ‘crisis’ attempt to corral women into acts of reproductive conformance comes from an extended range of personal damage control. In these cases, why wouldn’t the mother just minimize all legal obligation to the conservative sire altogether? It’s really a private matter after all.
The obvious is unavoidable. The proposed crisis scenario would grant an escalation from girlfriend/whore/sidepiece to that of baby momma/consort/concubine/middlewife - neglecting the role of marriage. Unfortunately, these too are traditional roles, interesting and colorful, tailored for the American conservative. They are observed with favor by the established, amoral political cadre. This is how ‘bad women who abort their babies’ becomes an unserious reputational dialect, to terrorize errant conservatives running side game. It doesn’t necessarily translate culturally to terrify anyone else. There is no way it should be endured as made law to prohibit a medical abortion for an ectopic pregnancy, or pregnancy from rape or incest.
Unfortunately, these conservative-generated pregnancies are simply the commonplace result of sex behavior with women who are not their wives. These are the women aborting the babies of American conservatives. The babies from these unions face a future of being ignored and denied in every way by their conservative fathers, treated as modern bastards and cast aside without provisional benefits in many cases for the crime of being inconvenient.
The majority of American women shouldn’t have to be dragged through diversionary acts of conservative Kabuki theatrics as a gauntlet to determine the outcomes of their own pregnancies. The State should not force women to cater to traditions of ‘moral enforcment’ to follow sidebar conservative sex appetites; which still include occasional trysts with same-sex partners, as well as women whom they are not married to. Their policies are so unpreservable they rot during the walk from the kitchen to the table.
Some conservative morality is subject of American myth. They want you to believe in Christian driven State morality. They fail to perform it practically, given evidence of corruption and interpersonal tyranny, in nearly every consistent way as a polity. It cannot be enforced as common good. The only good is elective faith and free practice of religious belief. That requires no State law enforcement to a voluntary personal matter.
REALITY VS. OPTICS
So let’s look at what’s happening now. What is motivating the Biden administration to stick it to conservatives who want to enforce a national reproductive outcome, without recognizing 47% of births that come outside the bounds of marriage? There are interpretive problems of American localization in political dialect.
Men who make over 500K a year are automatically acknowledged as elect by way of Calvinist social theory. Conservatives typically give them a pass to ignore or pass over bastardized offspring, (but not Hunter Biden). The numbers of American people who had buried childhoods because their existences were inconvenient are still out there. They remember what political tabloid operatives did, hanging swords over the years of their lives. They are as transparent as hotel lobby glass to them.
Poorer people are viewed as lesser- Americans by many conservatives, unless they are veterans, farmers or married Christians with families,
with at least one mortgage. People born to illegal immigrants inside this country are not really Americans unless they know them personally, even then, mostly just a maybe. While this isn’t true, the relational fallacy is 100% operational in conservative press.
The facts contravene the fantasy that is the conservative’s ideal, narrow corridor of acceptable humanity. The American conservative will legislate from the fantasy, not the reality. That is where the compulsion may come to manufacture the birth rate from strange women, presumably married women.
Follow up questions for American conservatives ‘shoulding’ all over wide swaths of women they did not impregnate would be: Is this your baby? If not, then would you please step off and get the hell out of the way of this private matter? When they refuse to leave American women alone to tend to their own affairs that is where the intrusion becomes a qualified fight of integral boundaries over personhood, owed to no strange man.
Democrats and the Biden administration want all sorts of engineered disparity and lack upon the American people: fuel and food shortages, gun curbs, travel curtailing, law enforcement denialism, financial and monetary interest rates and inflationary hikes, and now reproductive limitations. This includes additional federal spending provisions for abortion as means to limit the growth rate of the American populations. With 47% of the population being born outside the bounds of matrimony, you would think the American conservative would be universally enthralled at Biden’s genius appropriation of economic denials toward the bastard publics of the United States. However, this isn’t the case.
Moderate Americans want no part of financing abortion, as a benefit to federal workers. There is a moral element of culpability for an abortion in the minds of most people. That is an additional tax against the interests of the American people who possess no vote in the matter of an Executive order.
It is a purely partisan directive, with temporary privacy protections for health care included. Such accommodations are not evenly distributed to the federal worker. If they refuse a COVID-19 vaccine for health or religious exemptions, they stand to be unemployed. As I write this, thousands of armed service members are being decommissioned for lack of vaccination mandate compliance. I wish they had the version of choice women seem to enjoy for ‘reproductive health’ options.
I take no delight in pointing out these distinctions. There are more pressing threats to a pregnant woman’s privacy. Democratic controlled fealties in the technology space have been some of the most zealously guarded feudal hoards shared with APAC data brokerages, chip regulatory manufacturing and BRICS monetary exchanges to adversely impact medical privacy. To find a way to legislate privacy or improve public rules administration shouldn’t be seen as simple pandering to women.
It will be interesting to see the national escalation of any legislation to establish or codify the legal means to access abortion and the regulatory enforcement thereof. If we don’t see it, we know the American woman’s womb is still something politicians will inflate and kick around like a football during election season.
So, asking for a friend: what ever happened to preventative contraception? How did organizations like “Planned Parenthood” (emphasis on the planned part) become abortion advocates? Since when is abortion considered “contraception”? What a mess...
